The law of Conservation of Energy states, “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but can be transferred from one place to another.[1]” But energy can either create or destroy. The energy people give or share towards each other can either create a bond between them or destroy it; hence some people usually say that they don’t go for people who don’t match their energy. While digesting this, ever wondered the meanings of “You get what you give,” and “Do unto others what you want them to do to you?”
Let’s begin with the meaning of “You get what you give.” Well, this simply means that the energy that you give someone, is the same energy you get. To understand this better, we’ll have to talk about positive energy and negative energy. Positive energy or positive is what builds a bond between people; hence many people post statuses on social media saying, “Positive vibes only.” What they do not know is that everyone can bring positive energy/positive vibes. I assure you this: “People invest their energy where it is going to be returned back to them.” Same thing applies to negative energy/negative vibes; you get what you give remember?
Doing unto others what you them to do to you is often misunderstood. This is because most people don’t know that the phrase also means, “Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you.” This means that you should not do or act, to another person something that would make you angry or make you uncomfortable, if done to you. And therefore, do or act to the person something that would bring you peace and joy, if done to you… which is “Do unto others what you want them to do to you.”
So, “Getting what you give and “Doing to unto others what you want them to do to you,” are the moralities of energy. And as it is known, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed but it can be transferred from one place to another.” Meaning that the energy (positive vibes or negative vibes) shared between people can transferred from one person to another, hence love and hate or sometimes, pretending. But also, energy can either create or destroy. So, Be the Energy You Want to Attract.
